Dental HygienistPatricia Hughes

Patricia graduated from the City University of New York in 1997 with a degree in Dental Hygiene. She worked in Manhattan for eight years prior to returning to the west of Ireland where she has worked in private practices in Mayo and Galway.  She has also qualified in dental radiography, local anaesthesia and nitrous oxide sedation.

She is an active member of the Irish Dental Hygienist Association and the American Dental Hygienist Association.

Patricia has a special interest in the treatment of more severe gum disease and takes great pride in attaining and maintaining excellent gum health.
Patricia is a married with three Children and her interests include Gaelic football.

General Dentist BA B Dent Sc (Hons)Dr Aedín Ní Dhonnabhaín

Aedín qualified with an honours degree in Dental Surgery from Trinity College and then spent another year as a house officer in the Dental School.
Aedín gained extensive experience in Aesthetic Dentistry when she worked with the renowned specialist Dr Paddy Crotty.
Aedín prides herself on her gentle touch and caring manner.
She has particular skills in the treatment of children.
Aedín has worked in private practice for thirty years and taught the undergraduates in the Dental School in Trinity College Dublin.
Aedín is a mum of three living in Westport and loves living in the West of Ireland.

General Dentist BA B Dent Sc (Hons)Dr Niamh O’Grady

Dr Niamh O’Grady is a native of Sligo. She studied dentistry at Trinity College Dublin and graduated in 2015. Before commencing her dental studies, Niamh had trained and worked as a primary school teacher for a number of years.

Niamh is committed to making sure that patients feel at ease when in her care. She is passionate about educating her patients in good oral health practices.

She is also very keen on continuing professional development and attends courses in Ireland and Europe. She recently completed a postgraduate certificate in restorative dentistry with Professor Paul Tipton and implant restoration courses with Zimmer Biomet in Switzerland.

In her spare time she loves being outdoors on the farm and keeping fit in the gym. She has grown up playing Irish traditional music and spends a lot of her free time attending sessions and festivals
